ANA Foods Co., Ltd. was established as Shibata Industries Co., Ltd. in 1955 as an importer of Taiwanese bananas, around the same time Japan as a country began their private import. The company became wholly owned by All Nippon Airways Trading Co., Ltd. in 1977, and in 2014 its name was changed to ANA Foods Co., Ltd.
Since its establishment, the company, which started as a banana importer, has expanded its business into a diverse range of areas that include not only the import of fresh fruit and vegetables, but also processed foods, gift products and export business.
